You Just Do It!
Let us ponder our relationship with the Eternal Source.
Our seeking, searching, striving, our goal to attain enlightenment.
When you say attain enlightenment you are becoming another condition.
That is part of the difficulty because you already are enlightened.
There are no ingredients to add nor remove to make it so.
That is all!
When you are riding an elevator you have a goal to reach a destination.
Perhaps you live on a third floor apartment. So you press the button to the third floor.
But if you’ve lived there long enough you do not even remember pressing the button
you just do it. So that is an important condition.
When you are swimming laps under water you have a goal to reach a certain location.
You take a deep breath and swim till you reach your destination.
If you’ve done this often enough you take certain breaths and then open your mouth when you get there.
You just do it. So that is an important condition.
When you climb a mountain for the first time and you reach its peak you are elated and feel ecstatic.
That is a condition.
When you climb that mountain for a second time when you reach its peak you are blasé.
That is a condition.
So that is what happens you just do it.
That’s what becomes of life you just do it!
But consider this. There appears to be only two options all the time. Always two prevailing outcomes. You can feel good or disappointed by the result. Always just the two conditioned options.
This is not quite so. There is also silence! Ah take a deep breath, what is this? No judgment, no expectations, no dualistic conundrums, no seeking of outcome. Do you get it? This is important.
I can only point to it. Enlighten yourself to this.
